Delete your Care account
Care is made and operated by NOTYET (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED. You can request deletion of your Care account and the personal data associated with it, with or without the app.
In the app
Open Settings → Account and security → Delete account and follow the instructions.
Your account and associated data will be deleted. This action cannot be undone.
Without the app
Email us from the address linked to your Care account. Tell us you want to delete your account, and we’ll process your request within 7 days and email you to confirm when it’s complete.
What will be deleted
Your account, all profiles under it, your original medical documents and uploaded files, information extracted from those documents, medications, reminders, generated briefs, and other personal data associated with your account will be deleted.
Once deleted, this information cannot be recovered.
What may be retained
We may retain limited records where necessary to complete the deletion process or meet legitimate legal, security, or operational requirements. Any retained data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We do not retain your health records for continued use after account deletion.
Delete your data
You can delete individual items from Care without deleting your account.
In the app
- A document: Open it and choose Delete. It moves to Recently deleted in Settings, where it stays for 7 days in case you deleted it by mistake, and is then permanently deleted.
- A profile: Archive it from its screen. It stays in Archives for 30 days in case you need to restore it, and is then permanently deleted along with its documents.
- A medicine or reminder: Open it and choose Remove or Delete to remove it from your profile.
Without the app
Email us from the address linked to your Care account and tell us what you’d like deleted. We’ll process your request within 7 days and email you to confirm when it’s complete.
Deleting individual items won’t delete your Care account. To delete your account and all associated data, see Delete your Care account above.
Before you delete
Download or share any documents you want to keep before deleting your account. Once your account is deleted, you will no longer be able to access your records through Care.
